What is Mesoplox?
A marketplace for MapleStory Classic World. Players post Listings, agree a price in Trade Chat, and trade in-game. Prices come from what Players actually paid.
Is it official?
No. Mesoplox is a fan-made project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nexon.
Is it free?
Yes. Mesoplox is free to use, and it has no ads.
Why only Discord sign-in?
Most MapleStory trading already happens on Discord, and a Discord account gives each Player a stable identity and an account age. That makes scams and throwaway accounts harder.
How are prices calculated?
Only from Confirmed Trades between Eligible Players, where the buyer and the seller both report the same price. Asking prices on Listings never count towards the price shown for an Item. Confirmed Trades are public (which two Players traded, the Item, the quantity, the Unit Price and the date), so anyone can check the Trades behind a price.
What is Reputation?
The number of different Eligible Players you have a Confirmed Trade with. It is a signal that you complete trades honestly, not a score you can raise by trading with the same person repeatedly.
Why don't new Discord accounts count for 30 days?
Trades with a Discord account younger than 30 days do not earn Reputation or feed prices. It stops people from making fresh accounts to inflate either one. They can still trade normally.
Should I use Trade Chat or Discord?
Each Listing chooses one. Trade Chat keeps the conversation on Mesoplox, tied to the Listing. If the seller chose Discord, their Discord username is shown on the Listing instead.
How do I mark a sale?
After you trade in-game, open the Trade Chat and use Mark as sold on the Trade card. Enter the price, and the other Player is asked to confirm it. When both reports agree, it becomes a Confirmed Trade.
What if the buyer says it didn't happen?
They can dispute the sale from the Trade card. A disputed sale does not count towards prices or Reputation, and the stock goes back to the Listing. If the Listing hadn't been cancelled, sold elsewhere or expired, it reopens. Message a GM if you need help sorting it out.
Can I pay with real money?
No. Real-Money Trading is banned. Mesoplox is Mesos only, and the site never handles real money. Report anyone who asks for it.
Are there ads?
No ads, no tracking pixels, and your data is not sold. Anonymous, cookie-free analytics help us find bugs; the Privacy page lists what they record.
Who runs Mesoplox?
One player, as a hobby. Because of that, replies can take a day, and the site may change or shut down.
How do I delete my account?
Ask a GM through the help button. Deleting an account removes your profile, your Listings, every Trade Chat you took part in (including the other Player's messages in those chats), your Trades and Trade Reports, and your support messages. Confirmed Trades you were part of then stop counting toward your partners' Reputation and the price history. Data may remain in Supabase's backups for a limited time before it is overwritten.
